Curing Instructions

For optimal adhesion and durability, shaliteink blue plastisol ink treats 160 ° C (320 ° F) well. When the entire ink layer reaches 160 ° C, the ink is completely cured. For shining, a target of temperature between 120–140 ° C (248–284 ° F) for 3-5 seconds. Please note that the actual treatment time may vary depending on your equipment, ink deposits and substrate.

Important Curing Tips:

• Stretch test: After treatment, spread the printed fabric for about two-thirds of its original length. If the print cracks do not back down, it can be low-treatment.
• Wash test: Allow 24 hours to set the ink completely before washing. A properly fixed print will withstand 5–10 washes without a decline. If the print shows a significant decline after 1-3 washes, increase your treatment time.
• Temperature monitoring: Surface temperature guns can be misleading as they read only the top layer. For accurate temperature measurement, especially for the entire ink layer, consider using a donut probe.
• Polyester mixture: When working with polyester or poly-deeds, maintaining the lowest possible treatment temperature (160 ° C) is important to prevent dye migration (bleeding). This is because many polyester dye are activated at temperatures between 132–149 ° C (270–300 ° F).

Clean-Up

It is comfortable with shaliteink to keep your work area well. For on -res-clean-ups, use a dedicated plastisol ink press wash or ink degradant. For the screen clean-up in the sink, a plastisol screen wash or ink degrade will effectively remove all ink residues.

Storage Information

Store the shaliteink blue plastisol ink at room temperature, ideally between 18–32 ° C (65–90 ° F), and away from direct sunlight. For a long -term contact for temperatures above 32 ° C (90 ° F), ink can lead to treatment in the container, affecting its purpose.
