Curing Instructions & Guidelines:

For optimal adhesion and to wash fasting, fix the shaliteink red plastisol ink at 160 ° C (320 ° F). When the entire ink layer reaches 160 ° C (320 ° F), the ink is completely cured.

• Cure Temperature: 160°C (320°F)

• Flash Temperature: 120-140°C (248-284°F) for 3-5 seconds.
  

Important Curing Tips:

• Get full treatment: It is recommended to use a donut probe or temperature strips to ensure that the core of the ink layer reaches the target temperature. Laser guns can be misleading the reading of surface temperature.
• Wash test: After treatment, let the print cool down, then do a wash test (after 24 hours) to verify the appropriate treatment. The print should face 5–10 washes without deteriorating.
• Stretch test: Spread the slowly printed fabric about two-thirds of your maximum stretch. If ink cracks do not retreat, it can be low-treatment.
• Clothing ideas: Cotton clothing may require a little longer more time in the dryer than poly-deeds due to moisture content. Adjust the dryer settings accordingly.
• Ink deposit thickness: Thick ink deposits will naturally require more time to reach full treatment in the entire layer.

Clean-Up & Storage:

• On the press: Use a dedicated eco-friendly plastisol ink press wash or ink degrade for quick cleaning between jobs.
• In the sink: For screen reclaving, use a strong plastisol ink screen wash or ink degrade to remove ink residues well.
• Storage: Store red plastisol ink in a cool, dry place between 18–32 ° C (65–90 ° F), away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The ink may begin treatment in the container in prolonged contact for temperatures above 32 ° C (90 ° F).
