Product Details

Our bright blue screen printing plastisol ink claims a cm-gloss finish, which gives all your compositions a professional look. Its strongerization ensures limited weight-on-weight printing abilities and short flash time, increasing your production workflow. When printing on dark substrates, we recommend a print-flash-print technique or use an underbase white for optimal color breeding. For single print colors, the best will be the best breed on a vibrant blue white or light colored substrate.

Curing Instructions for Shaliteink Plastisol Ink

Getting an ideal treatment is important for print durability. Our bright blue plastisol ink offers you a customized treatment profile to save time and energy.

  • Treatment temperature: Our ink treats 160 ° C (320 ° F). Ensure that the entire ink layer reaches and maintains this temperature for proper treatment.
  • Flash temperature: Flash from 120 ° C to 140 ° C (248 ° F to 284 ° F) for about 3-5 seconds. Flash time may vary depending on your specific equipment and setup.

Important Curing Guidelines:

To test the treatment completely, allow for 5–10 washes. If the print shows deteriorating only after 1-3 washes, it indicates low-treatment. The “stretch test” is another quick method: spread the print to the length of about two-thirds of the T-shirt. If the print cracks do not retreat, it is low-treatment. We recommend doing a stretch test and wash test on a small scale before the large production run to ensure correct treatment and printing. Increase treatment time if the tests fail.

Polyester Blends & Dye Migration:

Our plastisol ink is designed to reduce bleeds on polyester mixtures. By treating at 160 ° C, you can significantly reduce the risk of dye migration. Most polyester fabric dyes are set between 270 ° F-300 ° F (132 ° C-139 ° C). Treatment below this range helps the colors to return to a gaseous position and prevent bleeding in your ink.

Pro Tip on Temperature Measurement:

Keep in mind that laser temperature guns provide surface readings and may be misleading. For the temperature of the exact internal ink layer, consider using a donut probe. The reading of the surface can be 60 ° F-f-100 ° F compared to the actual core temperature of ink, especially in small dryer tunnels. Factors such as ink thickness, initial ink temperature, and length of dryer tunnel affect all affected times.

Clean-Up & Storage

Maintaining your equipment and preserving your ink is straight with shaliteink.

  • On the press: Use a dedicated plastisol press wash/ink degradant for efficient clean-ups.
  • In the sink: A plastisol screen wash/ink degrade will effectively clean your screen.

Storage Information:

Store your shaliteink plastisol ink at room temperature, ideally between 18 ° C-32 ° C (65 ° F-90 ° F), and avoid direct sunlight. For a long -term contact for temperatures above 32 ° C (90 ° F), ink can lead to treatment in the container, affecting its purpose.
