Curing Instructions:

• Treatment temperature: Get complete treatment at 160 ° C (320 ° F). Ensure that the entire ink layer reaches this temperature for optimal durability. We recommend using a donut probe or infrared thermometer to accurately measure the internal temperature of ink, as the surface reading may be misleading.
• Flash temperature: Flash dried between 120 ° C to 140 ° C (248 ° F to 284 ° F) for 3-5 seconds. Adjust flash time depending on your specific equipment and ink deposits.
• Testing for treatment: A reliable treatment print is important for longevity. Perform a stretch test: spread the printed garment for about two-thirds of its maximum stretch; If the ink is cracks and does not return, it is low-treatment. For a certain test, do the wash test after 24 hours (allow the ink to be completely set). Prints properly fixed prints should face 5–10 washes without deteriorating.

Pro Tips for Optimal Results:

• Storage: Store the shaliteink plastisol ink at room temperature, ideally between 18–32 ° C (65–90 ° F). Avoid straight sunshine and prolonged contact for temperatures above 32 ° C (90 ° F), causing ink pre-treatment in the container.
• Underbassing: When printing on dark textiles for maximum opposeless and vibrancy, especially for people with high polyester materials, we recommend using excessive underbase white. This is especially important to prevent dye migration on polyester mixtures when the appropriate low temperature is combined with treatment.
• Fabric Choice: While versatile, Shalitink Black Plastisol ink performs exceptionally well on 100% cotton clothing. Always do initial tests on new fabric types to ensure optimal adhesion and treatment.

Clean-Up:

• On the press: Use eco-friendly plastisol ink degrader or press wash designed for screen printing ink clean-up.
