Curing & Flash Guidelines:

Achieving a perfect cure is crucial for durability. Shaliteink Deep Lemon Yellow Plastisol Ink is formulated for an efficient low-temperature cure, ensuring your prints stand the test of time.

• Treatment temperature: 160 ° C (320 ° F). Make sure that the entire ink layer reaches this temperature for complete treatment. Laser guns can be misleading the reading of surface temperature; For best results, use a donut probe or temperature strips to measure the main temperature of the ink.
• Flash temperature: 120 ° C (248 ° F) to 140 ° C (284 ° F) for 3-5 seconds. Flash time may vary depending on your equipment and ink deposits.
• Wash Test: We recommend doing wash test after the first 24 hours. A properly corrected print will withstand 5-10 washes, without cracking or deteriorating.
• Stretch test: Spread the printed fabric for about two-thirds of its length. If ink cracks do not retreat, it can be low-treatment. Increase slightly to habitat time or temperature.
• Polyester mixture: When printed on polyester or poly-deeds, the low treatment of shaliteink plastisol ink helps prevent temperature dye migration. Most polyester dyes are active at 132 ° C (270 ° F) and more than that. Treatment under this threshold reduces the risk of bleed-throat significantly.
