Curing Guidelines for Optimal Results:

Achieving an accurate cure is important for the longevity and washability of your prints. Our シャリテインク Pink Plastisol Ink is formulated for ease of curing at specific temperatures.

• Curing Temperature: 160℃ (320°F). Make sure the entire ink layer reaches this temperature for complete cure.
• Flash Temperature: 120°C to 140°C (248°F to 284°F). Flash for 3-5 seconds to obtain tack-free surface for multi-color printing.

Pro tip for curing: While laser temperature guns can provide a surface reading, a donut probe or temperature strips provide a more accurate reading of the ink’s core temperature. For full cure, plastisol ink needs to reach 160℃ throughout the entire ink layer. When printing on dark fabrics or poly blends, consider print-flash-print technology for optimal opacity and prevention of dye migration.

General Testing Recommendations:

Before starting mass production, we strongly recommend to do stretch test and wash test. These simple steps ensure that your prints are properly cured and will withstand repeated washing. If the ink tears excessively during the stretch test or wears out after 1-3 washes, increase the dryer time. For best results, 100% cotton fabrics are ideal, although our low-bleed formula also excels on poly blends.
