It is important to obtain a perfectly cured print for durability and wash fastness. Shaliteink Process Blue Plastisol ink is formulated for efficient cure.

Cure Temperature: Cure at 160°C (320°F) throughout the entire ink layer.
Flash Temperature: Flash at 120°C to 140°C (248°F to 284°F) for 3-5 seconds. Flash times may vary depending on your specific device and ink deposit thickness.

Important Curing Notes:

To ensure complete cure, the entire ink layer must reach the specified temperature. Relying solely on a laser temperature gun for surface readings can be misleading. For accurate readings, especially for thick ink deposits, a donut probe or probe thermometer inserted into the ink layer is recommended. Factors such as ink deposit thickness, garment material (cotton absorbs more moisture and heats up slower than polyester) and dryer efficiency will affect optimal cure time. Always perform wash test and stretch test on sample garment to confirm full cure before starting production. Half-baked prints will appear cracked or faded after washing.
