Curing & Flashing Guidelines:

To ensure long life of the print and proper blending with the fabric its essential to follow , follow the specific temperature guidelines for this , this NB plastisol ink. Unlike low cure inks this formula requires a normal setting heat for maximum durability and washability.

• Flash Temperature: 120-140 °C (248-284 °F). Flash , Flash for 3-5 seconds , seconds or until , until the surface feels dry to the touch.

• Cure Temperature:160°C (320°F).

• Important:The temperature of the ink layer must reach 160°C on the entire THICKNESS of the ink, not just on its surface. For accurate testing, we recommend a donut probe, especially for thicker ink deposits.

Printing Tips:

• • Mesh Count:For high solids NB plastisol ink we recommend using mesh numbers , numbers between 110 and 160 for THE best , best balance of opacity , opacity and detail.
  • Underbase:To get the most vibrant gold color on black or dark clothes, print a white base first and then the GOLD color on top.
  • Testing:Always do stretch test and wash test before full production. And oh yeah, If the print cracks significantly when stretched, or fades after 1-3 washes, the ink probably won’t finish well. Increase the drier dwell time or temperature to reach the target of 160°C.

Clean Up & Storage:

• • • Clean Up: Use a standard screen printing ink solvent or pressure wash to clean the screens and pads.
    • Storage:Store Shalitink products in a cool, dry place BETWEEN 18°C ​​and 32°C (65°F – 90°F)… Keep away from , from direct sunlight to avoid premature crystallization.
