Stop settling for “muddy” yellows that disappear into dark fabric. I’ve found that the secret to a pop that actually turns heads is our Orange Yellow Screen Printing Plastisol Ink—a high-opacity powerhouse designed for printers who hate compromises. Whether you’re hitting athletic wear or retail tees, this ink stays vibrant thanks to its rich pigment loading. It is a bold, sun-soaked bridge between gold and orange that holds its own without feeling like a thick layer of plastic.

Safety shouldn’t be a headache, so we made this formula entirely PVC-free and phthalate-free to keep your shop compliant and eco-friendly. Our Non-Bleed (NB) technology blocks dye migration on those tricky poly-blends, so your brights stay bright wash after wash. It’s smooth, easy to shear, and delivers a premium soft hand feel that will make your customers think you have a magic touch. Grab a jar and see why professionals trust Shaliteink to get the job done right.

The Orange Yellow Screen Printing Plastisol Ink Guide: Bright Colors for Happy Printers

I have ink on my hands and I have ink on my face. C’est la vie! I have been a printer for a long time. I love the smell of a hot dryer in the morning. It smells like money but it also smells like hard work. You are here because you want to make great shirts. You want colors that pop. You want that perfect Orange Yellow Screen Printing Plastisol Ink.

Sit down and grab a coffee. Mon ami, I will tell you everything I know. We will talk about why yellow is hard. We will talk about why orange is a diva. I will show you how to win the print game with Shaliteink Plastisol-Tinte.

1. The Trouble with Yellow and Orange

Why is yellow so hard to print? I ask myself this every day. The pigments are thin and they let light pass through. If you print on a black shirt the color disappears. It looks like mud and your customer will be sad.

You need a good Plastisol Ink Shop who knows how to load the ink with color. If the ink is cheap it will be weak. I only use Standard Plastisol-Siebdruckfarbe that has a high pigment load.

The White Base is Your Best Friend

You must use a white base. I like White PVC Free NB Screen Printing Ink for this. It is like a primer for a wall. You put the white down first and then the yellow sits on top. Now the yellow can shine. Without white the Yellow Screen Printing Plastisol Ink will look dark and dull.

2. The Big Trend: PVC Free and Safe Inks

In 2026 the world wants safe things. Parents want safe shirts for their kids. This is why PVC-freie Plastisol-Tinte is so big right now. It is an Eco-Friendly Screen Printing Ink and it feels great.

I tried the Orange Yellow PVC Free NB Screen Printing Ink last week. It was smooth and it did not smell bad. The “NB” means “No Bleed.” This is very important if you print on polyester shirts. Polyester has dye that wants to jump into your ink. A Non-toxic screen printing ink with NB properties stops that dye from moving.

Ink Feature Why You Need It
Phthalatfrei It is safe for babies and kids.
Non-Toxic Good for you and the earth.
Soft Hand The print feels like part of the shirt.

3. Let’s Talk Technical: Mesh and Heat

You cannot just slap ink on a screen and hope for the best. You need a plan. For a bright Orange Screen Printing Plastisol Ink I use a 110 mesh count. A 110 mesh has big holes and it lets a lot of ink through.

Curing Your Print

If you do not heat the ink it will fall off in the wash. This is bad for business. Most Plastisol-Tinte needs to hit 320°F to stay forever. I use a laser gun to check the heat. If it is 310°F it is not enough. You must reach the goal so the ink can bond with the fabric.

My Secret Tip: Use Anti Migration Screen Printing Ink Plastisol as a gray base on camo shirts. It blocks everything!

4. Special Effects for More Money

Do you want to charge more for your shirts? Use special inks.

  • The Shine: Use Gold Screen Printing Ink Plastisol. It looks like real metal.

  • The Feel: Try Puff Screen Printing Ink Plastisol. It grows when it gets hot. It is very fun to touch.

  • The Stretch: If the shirt is tight use Elastic Screen Printing Ink Plastisol. It will not crack when the person breathes.

5. Buying Smart: Wholesale and Kits

If you are new you should get a Screen Printing Starter Kit. It has the colors you need. I started with the NB Printing Ink Beginner Kit. It made my life easy.

But if you have a big shop you need Screen Printing Ink Wholesale. Buying in bulk saves you a lot of money. I always keep a bucket of Extra Black Screen Printing Plastisol Ink and White PVC Free NB Screen Printing Ink ready to go.

6. Real World Troubleshooting

Yesterday my Lemon Yellow PVC Free NB Screen Printing Ink looked weird. It was too thick. I added a little reducer and it was perfect. Magnifique! If your Fluorescent Orange Screen Printing Plastisol Ink looks thin you might need a better Photosensitive Emulsion. A High Density Photosensitive Emulsion helps you put down a thick layer of ink.
