Curing Instructions for Shaliteink Fluorescent Yellow Plastisol Ink:

To ensure optimal adhesion and wash fastness, cure your Shaliteink tintas plastisol at 160°C (320°F) throughout the entire ink layer.

• Flash temperature: 120-140°C (248-284°F) for 3-5 seconds. Adjust as needed based on your specific dryer and setup.
• Full Cure: The ink is fully cured when the entire ink layer reaches 160°C. Surface temperature readings from laser guns can be misleading; For accurate readings, donut probes or temperature strips are recommended to confirm core temperature.
• Wash Test: Always perform a wash test after installing new dryer settings. Generally, 5-10 times of washing are required for complete testing, but the condition will worsen after 1-3 times of washing in case of severe short treatment.
• Stretch Test: For a quick test, stretch the printed garment to about 2/3 of its normal stretch. If the print tears excessively and does not retract, it may not heal properly.
• Polyester Blends Dye Migration: Our low-bleed formula helps minimize dye migration. Curing at the recommended 160°C, which is often lower than the dye-setting temperature of many polyester fabrics (270°-300°F), further reduces the risk of dyes bleeding into your vibrant screen printing inks.
