Shalitienk Fluorescent Blue Plastisol Ink is engineered to optimize your screen printing workflow. Its low temperature of 160℃ (compared to higher temperature inks) means less heat is exposed to your clothes, reducing the risk of scorching or shrinking, especially on heat-sensitive clothes. This also results in significant energy savings and faster production times, as your conveyor dryer can operate more efficiently. The ink’s creamy texture and small body ensure it prints smoothly, reducing operator fatigue and increasing print consistency. For even more vibrant results on dark clothing, we recommend applying white as an underbase.
Curing Instructions for Shaliteink Fluorescent Blue Plastisol Ink:
Getting proper treatment is important for the longevity and durability of your prints. Shaliteink Fluorescent Blue Plastisol Ink is formulated for reliable cure at 160℃ (320°F).
- Curing Temperature: Make sure the entire ink layer reaches 160℃ (320°F).
- Flash Temperature: Flash at 120°C to 140°C (248°F to 284°F) for 3-5 seconds. This usually occurs when the ink surface is dry to the touch, making it easier for subsequent color layers or handling.
- General Testing Guidelines: Before any major production, always do both a stretch test and a wash test on a sample garment. Adjust dwell time or conveyor speed as needed to ensure optimal treatment. Cotton clothes may need to last a little longer due to their absorbency.
Pruebas de curación:
- Wash Test: Allow the ink to cool completely. Wash the cloth 5-10 times. If the print shows no defects, it is completely repaired. Undercooked prints will deteriorate significantly after 1-3 washes.
- Stretch test: Stretch the printed area of the garment to approximately two-thirds. If the ink bursts and won’t move back, it probably hasn’t cured properly.
Clean-Up & Storage:
Proper cleaning and storage is essential to maintaining the quality of your screen printing plastisol inks and equipment.
- On-press clean-up: Use a dedicated Plastisol press wash or ink degradant to clean the screen and squeegee.
- Screen Clean-up: For a thorough cleaning of the screen, use Plastisol Screen Wash or Ink Degradant.
- Storage: Store Shaliteink Plastisol Ink at room temperature, ideally between 18-32°C (65-90°F). Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and temperatures above 32°C (90°F), which may cause the ink in the container to begin to solidify.
Pro-Tips for Screen Printing with Shaliteink Plastisol Ink:
- Underbase for dark fabrics: For the most vibrant fluorescent blue on dark fabrics, always print with an underbase white.
- Mechanical bond: Remember, tinta plastisol creates a mechanical bond by wrapping around the fabric fibers rather than coloring them. This ensures better durability.
- Ink thickness: Thicker ink deposits will require a longer stay in the dryer to ensure the entire ink layer reaches the proper curing temperature.
- Polyester Blends: When printing on polyester or poly-blends, the low cure temperature of Shaliteink Plastisol Ink helps prevent dye migration, as it cures below the typical sublimation temperature of polyester dyes (270-300°F).
Choose Shaliteink Fluorescent Blue Plastisol Ink for your next screen printing project and experience the perfect blend of vivid color, exceptional performance, and ease of use. As a leading screen printing ink retailer, Shaliteink is your trusted partner for high-quality, factory-direct solutions.
