For optimal adhesion and washing, shaliteink extra black plastisol ink requires a complete treatment. When the entire ink layer reaches a temperature of 160 ° C (320 ° F), the ink is completely cured.

• Flash temperature: 120 ° C to 140 ° C (248 ° F-284 ° F) for 3-5 seconds. Flash time can vary depending on the device and print thickness.
• Treatment temperature: 160 ° C (320 ° F) in the entire ink layer.
• Testing for treatment: A reliable treatment is necessary. We recommend doing “stretch test” and wash tests. For stretch testing, spread the printed apparel to about two-thirds of its original size. If the ink is cracks and does not return, it can be low-treatment. For the wash test, let the print cool completely, then wash the garment. If there is a decline after 1-3 washes, then the chances of ink are less. Adjust your dryer settings (speed and temperature) accordingly. Remember, time and temperature are interdependent. Thick ink deposits will require longer stay.
• Polyester mixture: When working with polyester or poly-deeds, achieving 160 ° C (320 ° F), reducing the temperature, lowering the temperature, is as low as possible to prevent dye migration. The low treatment properties of shaliteink help reduce this common issue.
